Japan is famous in foreign countries for the beautiful pink cherry blossoms (Sakura) that bloom from mid-march to the end of March.
It is possible to do other hanami in Japan than the Sakura.
From mid-february to mid-march, you can find in a lot of places Ume blossoms. Ume are Japanese prunes.
Here are a couple of pictures that have been taken in Shinjuku Gyoen, in Tokyo. Enjoy!
